of the naturist beach stretches for about 2.5km.

Villaricos
is lovely fishing village located about 10 minutes' drive
away, or a very leisurely 25 minute cycle along the beach
path. On Sundays they have a typical Spanish market in the centre. There is a collection of bars,
restaurants and scuba diving shops. It has particularly attractive paved marine walk-way.

In the
evenings a popular way to sight see and visit other bars and restaurants
is by the ‘tourist train’. It goes to Garrucha every hour and costs 4 euros return. You
can catch it hotel street which is about
2 minutes' walk.

There
are many scuba diving shops around the area, the ones we have
experienced with are based in Villaricos (the closest) and
Carboneras (slightly more exciting).

You may be already aware of Granada and the Alhambra
Palace as being one of the most beautiful places in the world.
It is located about 2 hours' drive away
from the apartment.

There are
almost too many restaurants to mention. However our favourites
are:-
• "Tiggers" -
Lunch time beach bar
• Balconcito- nice friendly bar, that serves excellent tapas
and set meals.
• "Bonitos" - This is the favourite of the ex pat locals, with good value for money grub.
• Wok En Fu- an all you can eat Chinese restaurant.
• Lenos y Carbon- Argentina steak restaurant.
• El Capel- Well worth the price, but it does cost
• Esperanza- Vilaricos Fish Restaurant
• Garruchua fish restaurants- the are 7-8 restaurants all around
the port.
