This resort is officially recognised as the driest area of Europe with very little rain and longer winter daylight hours. It is possible to sunbathe even in mid winter.

There are several secure communities that make up the Vera Playa neighbourhood but Parque Vera 5 is the newest.

This urbanisation is particularly pleasing to the eye, tranquil and spacious with well kept gardens and good sized pools.
